Creating Salla products from Odoo
Publishing Odoo items into your Salla store automatically, or by Excel when you need finer control.
Yes, this can be automated
Contrary to how it used to work, the connector can now create Salla products from Odoo items automatically. An Excel file is only needed in special cases.
Turn on the two switches
On the Inventory tab of the Configuration screen:
- Add New Product to Salla — a new Odoo item is created in Salla.
- Update Salla Product from Odoo — an Odoo edit is reflected in Salla.
Turning on either makes the Products Mapping OTS screen appear in the sidebar.
Publish one item or the whole catalogue
From the Products Mapping OTS screen you can push a single item to Salla, or run the operation across every item not yet in the store. The job runs in the background with a blue banner.

The link opens the screen directly in the Integration Dashboard.
Check the result in Salla
A published product takes its data from Odoo: name, price and description. Review the first batch in the Salla dashboard and check images, categories and publication state before widening the scope.
The manual Excel route
Still available when you need full control over the product data:
- Export the items from Odoo to Excel.
- Adjust the file to match the Salla template, carrying the Odoo barcode into the Salla SKU field.
- Upload the file in Salla.
- Come back to Products Mapping and press Start Auto Mapping.
Which to choose
Use the automatic push for a catalogue you manage in Odoo and want published as-is. Use Excel when your Salla listings need different marketing copy from your Odoo data.
