What Salla tells the connector
The events the connector acts on, and the ones it deliberately ignores.
The connector does not poll; Salla tells it
The connector does not scan your store every minute looking for changes. When something happens in Salla, Salla sends an immediate notification to the connector service, and that notification is what sets everything in motion.
In practice: if the notification does not arrive, nothing happens — and no error appears. The Salla Events screen is where you check whether it arrived.
Order events
The connector acts on:
- Order created and order updated
- Order status updated — the most important event of all; every Odoo step is triggered from it
- Order products updated and order total updated
- Shipment created and shipment cancelled
Customer and product events
- Customer created and customer updated
- Product created, product updated and product deleted
App events
- App installed and store authorized — this is when your account is created or its access token refreshed
- App uninstalled
- Subscription changes — started, renewed, expired or cancelled
Events the connector does not act on
Some Salla events arrive but nothing is built on them. The notable ones:
- Order refunded, order deleted and order cancelled as standalone events — cancellations and returns are handled through order status updated and your status lists, not through these.
- Shipping address updated, coupon updated, payment updated and order customer updated.
- Shipment returns.
If you are waiting for the connector to react to one of these, it will not. Configure the matching status on the Status tab instead.
