This screen appears on the advanced plan only. If it is not in your sidebar, your current subscription does not include it.
What it adds
It links the Zid SKU to the Odoo barcode or internal reference, and lets you add more than one barcode and more than one internal reference for a single item.
When you need it
When one product has several codes — because you buy it from different suppliers, changed your coding scheme, or merged two catalogues.
How it relates to normal mapping
Custom mapping widens what automatic matching can find. Products it successfully matches show as linked on the normal Products screen.
Start with normal mapping
If each product has one clear code, the normal screen is faster and simpler. Only reach for custom mapping when you actually need it.
