The Odoo connection fields as they appear on the Configuration screen, with their check buttons.
The same fields as the first-time screen
URL, database, port, email, password, version and hosting type. Each field is explained in the Connecting Odoo section.
The panel folds away
It is collapsed by default once setup is done so it does not take over the screen. Click its header to open it.
Online quantity sync
For Odoo Online users this panel carries the Add Fields, Views and Cron button, with a Check Only option and a report of what already exists.
Changing the database is a big deal
Changing the URL or database name means pointing at a different Odoo. The Odoo ids stored on your records will not be valid in the new database — read Resetting the links to Odoo before doing this.
The check buttons
From the button menu beside Save: Check Connection, Init Odoo and Reload. They are explained in When the Odoo connection fails.
