The setup progress messages
The banner shown during automatic setup, and what each message means.
Where you see it
While automatic setup is running, a status banner at the top of the Configuration screen updates live with each step.
The messages in order
Each message begins with Auto Odoo Setup then the step: checking connection, init, subscribe webhooks, set default accounts, select statuses, enable product sync, pull products, pull orders, then Finished.
Pulling shows a counter
The two pull steps show a numeric progress such as 0/50, so you can see work is continuing rather than stuck.
Connection failed
A Connection failed message means your Odoo details are wrong or Odoo is unreachable. No other step ran. Correct the details and save again.
A single step failing
If a step other than the connection fails, a message with its name followed by "failed" appears and the connector carries on. You can handle that step by hand afterwards.
The banner disappearing means it is done
When setup completes the banner clears itself. If it stays up for an unusually long time, reload the page.
