The Tecfy addon in Odoo
What the Tecfy addon adds, and the features that do not work without it.
What it is
An addon installed inside your Odoo that adds fields and screens the connector uses. You install it from the Odoo app store, not from the Integration Dashboard.
How to tell if it is installed
The Configuration screen has an Is Tecfy App Installed? indicator that tells you directly.
Add Fields and View
This button adds the fields and view the connector needs inside Odoo. Beside it, Check Only produces a report of what exists and what is missing without changing anything.
Start with Check Only
Use Check Only first to see what would change before letting the connector write anything into your Odoo.
What does not work without it
Four features need the addon: COD-specific statuses, stock-picking steps, pushing order lines from Odoo back to Zid, and retrieving shipment labels.
On Odoo Online
Addons cannot be installed on Odoo Online. The connector therefore builds what it needs a different way — see Setting up online quantity sync in the quantities section.
