Before you go live
A short ordered checklist to finish before you rely on the connector for real orders.
11. App installed and sign-in works
Install the app from Zid, choose your password, and confirm you can sign in to the dashboard.
22. Odoo is connected
Enter and save your Odoo connection details, and confirm Check Connection succeeds. See the Connecting Odoo section.
33. Webhook subscription is complete
At the top of the Configuration screen the Zid webhook subscription must be complete (8 of 8). If it is not, press the subscribe button.
44. Order statuses are configured
Decide which Zid status creates a sales order, which creates an invoice, and so on. This is the most commonly forgotten step.
55. Check the cash-on-delivery split
If you enable COD statuses and leave their lists empty, cash-on-delivery orders do nothing at all — with no error message. This is the most confusing failure in the product.
66. Try a single order
Create one test order in Zid and follow it: it should appear in Zid Events, then on the Orders screen, then as a sales order in Odoo.
77. Check the error screens
Open All Order Errors and confirm it is empty. Anything sitting there now will repeat with every real order later.

Once all seven pass, you can rely on the connector. Keep an eye on the error screens during the first week.
