Installing the app from Zid
From the Zid App Market to the screen where you choose your dashboard password.
1Start in the Zid App Market
Find the TECFY Odoo Connector app in the Zid App Market inside your store control panel, then choose Add app.
2Grant the app access
Zid shows the permissions the app requests: reading orders, products and customers, and updating quantities. Approving them is required — without them the connector cannot read anything from your store.
3What happens behind the scenes
After you approve, Zid sends you back to the connector service, which does all of this in one step: exchanges the authorization code for a lasting access token, reads your store and account details, reads your app subscription, then creates your merchant record.
4The welcome message
The system sends a welcome message on WhatsApp to the mobile number registered on your Zid account. Receiving it is a good sign that installation completed.
5Choose your dashboard password
You are taken automatically to the password screen. This step is mandatory and comes immediately after installation.
6This password is not your Zid password
The password you choose here is for the Integration Dashboard only. It has nothing to do with your Zid account, and changing it does not affect your store.
7Installation complete
Once the password is saved you move on to the Odoo connection screen. Continue with the next section: Connecting Odoo.
