Electronic invoicing with ZATCA
What the connector does for e-invoicing, and where its responsibility ends.
Requires Odoo 19.3 or later
This screen appears only when your Odoo version is 19.3 or later. On older versions it is not in the sidebar at all.
Where e-invoicing actually happens
E-invoicing is a feature of Odoo itself: Odoo signs the invoice, submits it to ZATCA and receives the response. The connector never talks to ZATCA directly.
What the connector does
Its role is to ask Odoo to submit the invoice after creating it, then read the submission status and surface it on the error screens.
What gets submitted
Invoices and credit notes. Each has its own error screen.
Configuring Odoo is on you
E-invoicing must be configured in Odoo first: the certificate, your establishment details, and the ZATCA connection. The connector configures none of it.
The accepted status
An invoice counts as successful when its status in Odoo is accepted. Anything else shows on the matching error screen.
