Reauthorize the app to fix the token issue
When the red "Zid token is invalid" banner appears, this is the page that fixes it.
1What you are seeing
A red banner at the top of the dashboard reads "Zid token is invalid, please Reauthorize App to fix the issue". While it is showing, the connector can neither read from nor write to your store.
2Why this happens
Your Zid store grants the app a time-limited access token, which the connector renews automatically. The token becomes invalid if the app was uninstalled and reinstalled, if its permissions changed in Zid, if authorization was revoked by hand, or if automatic renewal failed for long enough.
3What is not working right now
Everything is stalled: new orders do not reach Odoo, quantities are not pushed to your store, and order statuses are not sent. Your stored data is intact and will not be lost.
4The fix: reinstall the app from Zid
Sign in to your Zid store control panel, open the App Market, find the TECFY Odoo Connector app, and install it again, approving the permissions once more. This issues the connector a fresh, valid token.
5Your settings are not lost
Reauthorizing only refreshes the token. Your configuration, product mappings and order history all stay exactly as they were — nothing needs setting up again.
6Confirm it worked
Reload the Integration Dashboard. The red banner should be gone. If it is still there, sign out and back in to refresh your session.
7Open Zid Events
The best proof that things are working: open Zid Events and confirm new events are arriving after reauthorizing.
8Events missed while the token was invalid
Events Zid sent while the token was invalid may not be resent. Check the Orders screen against your store, and use Pull orders from Zid to recover anything missing.
9If the banner keeps coming back
If it returns after reauthorizing, the installation itself is usually at fault. Contact technical support with the WhatsApp button at the bottom of the screen.
