Each plan includes one user, with extra users charged per month, and there is a 14-day free trial. Daftra lists modules across sales, POS, inventory, accounting, HR (attendance, contracts, payroll) and operations, plus mobile apps including an attendance app.
Strengths: broad module list in one subscription, including HR; offline POS. Watch for: invoice and customer limits on lower plans; extra users and branches add up.
Odoo: when the business outgrows accounting software
Odoo covers accounting, inventory, purchasing, sales, POS, manufacturing, eCommerce, HR and more in one database. Its Saudi localization includes the chart of accounts, 15% VAT, the ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing module and a Saudi payroll localization. Odoo Community is open source under LGPLv3; Odoo Enterprise is billed per user per month by Odoo.
The trade-off is set-up. Odoo is rarely switched on and used as-is; it is configured around your chart of accounts, warehouses and approvals. Plan it at a year-end or quarter-end, migrate opening balances, open items, customers, suppliers and products, and keep the old system read-only for history.
